Communicate the required standards and behaviours expected of staff when using email, ensuring they are aware of their obligations.

Keep risks to a minimum by ensuring staff are not ignorant of their obligations and will encourage them to inform the appropriate person upon receipt of an inappropriate email.

Enhance a company’s ability to minimise any arising legal liabilities by demonstrating it has taken steps to prevent inappropriate use of its email system.

Provide best practice guidelines to encourage staff to use email in an effective manner, enhancing productivity and ensuring the company’s reputation is not damaged by inappropriate use or poorly, unprofessionally drafted emails.
