I have a proposal, which I think is a win-win. This is an extensive post, but it gives you some idea of what I do.
I use to publish/print/mail, a magazine called "Writer's Rescue" (ISSN 0884-6030). I will publish my first issue of "Writer's Rescue" magazine in Oct . for the first time on the internet. The first three issues will be sent to many publications and groups. The Jan. issue may be by subscription. I'm working on my site and WR will be published at http://www.writersrescue.com once it's completed. Just think...that is free advertising for three months. I swap ads with some ezines that have large data bases.
My publication is 99-100% freelance material. I'm reviewing manuscripts from freelance writers on subjects pertaining to writing and homebased business'. Writers and poets in every market, people of every age and of every genre, are welcome to participate. Articles cover topics on the writing craft, the industry, and the writing life.
In my Oct. issue, I'm reviewing products for writers and home based business' ...just in time for Christmas purchases. If you have a product that would be of interest to writers and homebased business', I would need it by Sept. 28th. If the product has to be shipped, I would accept it by Sept. 30th. Your product will be listed in the Nov. and Dec. issues as well. I will be accepting ads for the online subscription and I do trade ads with those that have ezines, newsletters, magazines and classified ads. To drop a name here..."The Writer's Digest" almost always took my back cover of my printed magazine.
I review software, books, e-books, computers, computer accessories, hardware and anything that a writer would be able to use. I've reviewed printers, software, memberships, subscriptions, pens, paper, laptops, scanners, games...yes games, we still have to have fun and they come in handy when the dreaded "Writer's Block" shows it's ugly head. If you have a book, e-book or product you would like me to review, email: writersrescue@cox.net and put "product review wr" in the subject area.
I also publish a newsletter from one of my sites "Creative Trading Newsletter". This newsletter is free to subscribe too and there is free e-books and software in every issue http://www.shrinkmylink.com/bsnison This newsletter is for small and home based business'. I would swap ads or take paid ads if you are interested in this newsletter. I would like to swap ads with you and link together once I'm up and running with my writing and publication site.
