After buying hundreds and hundreds of leads from lead companies, I learned one thing, I will never buy a single lead again.

I can't speak for every company, but most lead companies trick people into filling out a survey form or opting into something by promising them a free cd player or some other trinket. These people are not interested in being in a business, they want to get their free trinket. And even if they are looking for a home based business, they aren't looking for yours!

So, how do you go about producing your own leads? Build your own lead generating website.

You need a complete solution though, not just a crummy little wesite.

If you have a website, the best way for someone to find your site is for it to be on the first page of the search results your potential customer or lead just brought up on their computer. The only way to do that is to learn how to drive traffic to your site via the search engines.

I found the complete solution to building a web presence not just a web site. It's called Site Build It (http://www.sitesell.com/Alan1.html22.html)

There is tons of free information and downloads on their website (http://www.sitesell.com/Alan1.html22.html) about how to build a quality website and get traffic to your site.

It does take a while to get traffic to your site, it does not happen immediately. You need to understand this point, it is a process and takes time. But you are going to waste more time working with worthless leads...I know, believe me.

You can still buy leads if you want or you can produce them yourself. (http://www.sitesell.com/Alan1.html22.html)
